Over the past few weeks, the students been working a lot with functions and how they can be applied to solve real-world problems. My lesson was an extension: I taught the students about increasing, decreasing, and constant functions, in addition to “live action” functions. All of the functions I taught in my lesson had a relationship with time, whether it be height and time, distance and time, or speed and time.
